The long sold ones are an excellent opportunity to be moved away a little of the routine, the bustle of the center, the stress of the work and to take a good dose of clean air.
We seize the occasion 200 km of Capital Federal to move us away and attend the "Segunda Fiesta Provincial de la Aviación" that was carried out in the city of Dolores between the 08th and the 10th of October. Simultaneously the National Aerostatic Regatta "Ciudad de Dolores" was carried out. The meteorology helped quite a lot since it was not rained and on Saturday the sun was done present accompanied by a nice warm, was really a spring day.
Well, as it is habit already, the balloons carried out its flights early. At night a caravan of fire was carried out through the centric streets of Dolores. They accompanied the horns that they made remember the feasts of the world one of soccer.
The event was declared of Municipal and Provincial Interest and had the presence of great quantity of public and of interesting figures of the aeronautical atmosphere.
The program included show of air acrobatics on the part of Jorge Malatini with the one who we converse as he finishes its demonstration, flights of baptism in glider for all those lovers of the adventure; parachuting that was the admiration of the public, in charge of the School of La Plata and of course, those that wanted, could carry out tandem jumps (stuck on an instructor); they were also there the Ala Delta and ultralight of Fly Ranch (La Plata); paragliding of Mar del Plata; exhibition of agriculture airplane ; airplane modeling and a static exhibition. A squadron of airplanes of the Naval Air Base of Punta Indio carried out an air passing.
On Saturday the Night Glow fulfilled himself: the show in which the balloons illuminate the estate giving a touch of color and heat to the night in which the cold started to be felt.
They informed in this festival about a total of nine balloons.
The final results: 1st Mario Alvarez, 2nd Javier Barozza and 3rd Eduardo Araoz.
The Aero Club Dolores
It was created on the 14th of March 1929, for a group of enthusiastic pioneers of the aviation. With running of the years was built as one of the aeronautical entities most sent of the region. The gliding started in 1986 and has had a constant and sustained growth since then. Pilots of adjacent cities such as Maipú, Castelli, Saint Teresita, Gral Guido, Cnel. Vidal, etc. were formed here. The work of community support that carries out this institution is outstanding, since it gave appropriately valuable services in the frequent flooding happened in the area.
Today it has transformed into an aerosport entity recognized in the local, provincial and national order. An important number of pilots has represented the Aero Club Dolores in the provincial and national order in championships of airplane modeling, landings of accuracy by airplane and provincial and national competitions of glider. It has with a Piper PA 28 Archer, a Cessna 150, a Piper PA 11, an Aero Boero and the gliders Super Blanik L 23, Jantar 2b, Phoebus C, Austria Standard, Ka 6 CR and Baby III.
A pilot without turns
19 years ago it flies in Argentinian Airlines, which what he names "air culture" and helped him for the training, to take decisions, offered him.
Jorge Mario Malatini, at the eight years had its first contact with an airplane.
Worked with an air fumigador and I started by washing airplanes. In the 80 it had my activity in fumigation in the flying club and started, a time afterwards, to bring of the EE.UU. airplanes of fumigation, the Bellanca Deca-thlon. We remain once beached in the factory by several days because there was a lot of snow.
A- At that time it started your taste for the acrobatics...
M- Started my acrobatic activity at the 20 years. I returned to Argentina and kept training in 1987, in Bell Ville (Cordoba).
I blew every class of airplanes up and we start with the CVA (Center of Artistic Flight) that dissolved three years ago. They started the championships of acrobatics of those that take part in five or six and air shows.
A- What pensás every time that you raise to fly?
M- No I think nothing... I enjoy myself with the airplane. I always do the same routine, I do not modify anything, absolutely. I carry out the modifications at home, in Carlos Casares, when I have time to train. The quantity of hours of flight that I have are quite a lot, which does not mean that bran of anything is...
A- How many hours?
M- Aprox. 16 800. Of acrobatics 1000 and 146 shows. As I told you, deal of always making the same, a routine, be trained and a lot of discipline. Even though the people says me "crazy", not as soap (laughter).
In these moments its own airplane, bought in 1997 to the CVA, flies.
A- Tell me about the competences that you took in part.
M- I tooked part in the 1er. Championship of Acrobatics in Bell Ville in 1987 and I went out third and in Crooked Deer also. Precisely, I obtained my first triumph here in Pains. Besides I took part in Tandil, with gliders, I went out second, in the EAA, in Bell Ville... but it is not important to gain or not to gain, the acrobatic atmosphere is very familiar.
A- Some Physical training?
M- Very few physical training. Yes, a diet ordered not to have any inconvenience. I do not smoke and not take anything of alcohol and rest because it is basic.
What more heavy is, more is felt the acceleration. In an acrobatic show +8 G is reached, at the most, and almost -5 G. Yo I am very peso grandote 90 kilos, I have to lower 7 or 8.
A- What does your family says?
M- I am not married, I have my mother that much does not like it but got used... I take 12 years making this. Besides I am not alone, the people applaud Jorge Malatini, but behind there is an equipment of four people that attend continuously to the maintenance of the airplane. When having our own hangar we, mimes, do it, all the part of bolts is completely changed to new. It is basic to have everything well. If one is felt in conditions and comfortable is going to be blown up. I have refused, sometimes, to fly in excess in a show if I have been tired or if it did not find me well.
A- Which type of equipment must be had for this activity?
M- The Acro dispatched for the Air Force to any pilot that has carried out the course.
A- Sometimes did you have a fright?
M- Never. If something walks badly I do not go out to fly. I know my limits... always deal of putting an ace away in the sleeve...
Curriculum vitae of J. Malatini
It was born in Carlos Casares (Pcia. of Bs. Ace.) on 22 of July 1957 and started the course of Pilot of Airplane in October 1974. Afterwards he dedicated itself to the air fumigation in its city.
In 1980 he deposited Argentinian Airlines as copilot of Boeing 707. He was pilot of F-28 Fokker; B-737 and B-727. That same year started acrobatics in EE.UU. with Bellanca Citabria, in Argentina it continued this discipline flying Cessna 152 and 150; Bellanca Decathlon, Glider Grob, Pitts S 1 T and S 2B and Extra 230, being instructor of acrobatics in Rivadavia (Mendoza) and in Gral Rodríguez (Pcia. of Bs. Ace.) and at present Jumbo is pilot of B-747.
It has licenses of Aeroaplicador, Instructor of flight, Pilot of glider, of, ultralight helicopter, paragliding, of Transport of Airline (TLA) with equipment to tow gliders away and to carry out acrobatic exhibitions. Besides it is parachutic. It was corridor of Rally of Cupecitas de Turismo de Carretera, having been Argentinian champion in 1990 and 1991.
The unique CVA integrated equipment of acrobatics that there was into the country carrying out 126 shows. It took part in all the competences of acrobatics since 1987 up to the date, and obtained two 3rd posts and a 2nd post. In 1991 the city of Chivilcoy declared him "Guest of Honor" in the Annual Holiday of the Sportsman, obtaining medal to the best sportsman of the year in its rubric.
At present he is owner of the Company dedicated itself to air exhibitions.
